2006 Suzuki LT-R450

This will replace the Kawasaki KFX700 and be Trixie's new ride!  Seems like it will be the perfect ride for my wife.  She really wants my 450R!  The Zuk is as long and wide as my R is after all my suspension modifications and the Zuk has a lower seat height to boot.  I think the EFI will be great for her preventing any starting issues.

The LTR arrived in early February 06.  First ride: motor seemed low on power in the first 15 minutes, the next 15 I could feel the rings seating and more compression ending with it has OK stock power.  The suspension from out of the box is awesome.  My TRX suspension is not enough better to warrant the additional cost!  Rear tires are OK for dirt...horrible in sand.

Remove baffle from pipe, remove air box lid, and install Cherry Bomb...WOW!  In my opinion these mods make the LTR more powerful engine wise then the TRX or YFZ with similiar mods.  Incredible difference.

I just installed Simple Racing's (Rich) HID light in the factory housing...there is no way you can look at this light for longer then 5 seconds and not be blind!  The install was very simple and Rich provides a step by step guide with pics.  The price is about 1/3 the cost of the other HID lights on the market.  Everyone that has seen it first curses and then asks where to get one.  Give Rich a call and light up the night!  http://www.simpleracing.com/v1/catalog/
